If you don’t find the time for exercise now, you’ll be forced to find time for your illnesses later!

So today at work, when discussing health, a woman tells me she has no time for exercise. Fair play to her, she is trying to eat healthy and drink less alcohol so she earns some brownie points for that!

Was I harsh to her to say that if she doesn’t find the time for exercise now, she’ll be forced to find more time for her illnesses later?!?! Already diabetic and suffering with hypertension (high blood pressure) and clearly stressed by her job …. not a brilliant recipe for health.

The world is becoming more stressful…whether its work, financial, family or social stresses. But ignoring the basics isn’t helping!

Ha! That’s my little rant for today 😛

  1. It is about choices, Sandy. She is choosing something else as more important than health. If she’s under the care of doctors for the diabetes and hypertension, then she surely has been made aware of the importance of exercise.

It is sad to me to see people Maki g that kind of choice, but honestly, a year ago that was me.

Continue being you and modeling good choices. Hopefully, for her sake, she’ll come around.

  2. Darn it…I hate auto correct. My comment above should say… Everyone finds and makes time for the things that are most important to them.
